Check-In / Check-Out

Monday through Saturday check-in is 4PM. Check-out Monday through Sunday is 10AM. All late check outs or early check ins must be verified with management. 

Arbors by the Sea 

PET POLICY

1. If you or one of your visitors are planning to bring a pet to your cottage, then the pet must be disclosed when making your reservation. Not all of our cottages are pet friendly. There are only a few specifically designated pet friendly cottages. 

2. The Arbors by the Sea will allow small dogs under 25 pounds. We do not take larger dogs, or a combination of dogs with a total combined weight of 25 pounds.The pet rate is $15 per night per pet plus the 11.5% resort tax, for a total of $16.73 per night per dog.This fee is due when your final payment is made 30 days prior to arrival, or when your reservation total amount is due if your reservation is made less than 30 days prior to arrival. 

3. There is also a $150.00 refundable deposit required for each pet and is payable at least 30 days prior to your arrival.The deposit will be returned within two weeks after your departure from the Arbors by the Sea if there is no damage or extra cleaning required in your cottage. Any damage costs or extra cleaning costs will be subtracted from your $150.000 deposit prior to returning the deposit to you.

4.The Town Of Longboat Key does not allow pets on any part of the beach - it is a Town of Longboat Key Ordinance. The Town fine is several hundred dollars. Additionally, it is a Town ordinance that pets must be on a leash at all times, every where within the Town of Longboat Key. Please keep your dog on a leash and take them across the street for walking and ensure that you pick up after your dog when needed. As a courtesy to the other guests at the Arbors by the Sea, please do not allow your dog to toilet on our grounds. 

5. Please do not leave a pet in your cottage if it will bark or do damage when left alone. Remember, your pet is not in a familiar environment and may act differently than when left at home. If other guests have complaints regarding your pet, you and your pet may be required to leave immediately without any refund of your remaining cottage fees or pet fees.

6. If you or a visitor to your cottage brings a pet without prior disclosure to us at the time of you reservation, you may be asked to leave without any refund of your remaining cottage rental fees.

7. Our pet rules are established to help keep our property clean and enjoyable for all of our guests. 

Arbors by the Sea  - Cancellation Policy

Cancellation:  The renter may cancel or change the dates of the reservation with more than 60 days written notice (e-mail) prior to the arrival date and receive a refund of any monies paid less a $75.00 administration fee per unit.  If the reservation is cancelled or changed within 60 days or less of the scheduled arrival date, or cancelled by the Arbors by the Sea for non-compliance of the rental policies, monies will be refunded only if the space is re-rented for the same dates as your original contract.  If re-rental is accomplished a $75.00 fee per unit is charged, and only the balance will be refunded. We are unable to refund deposit and final payment monies within the cancellation period for ANY reason. We suggest that you consider obtaining trip cancellation insurance.
